Biography
A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Ms. Staggs is a recent graduate of the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, with a Bachelors Degree in Classical Vocal Performance. She has performed as: Annina in La Traviata, Valetto in L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, the Second Spirit in Die Zauberflöte and most recently as Musetta in La Boheme at the Lamont School of Music. Ms. Staggs has also performed with Opera Colorado, VOICExperience, Songfest, Opera Fort Collins, Lamont School of Music, the International Institute of Vocal Arts in Chiari, Italy, University of Wyoming Opera Theater, Fort Collins Children’s Theater and New West Productions. Ms. Staggs currently studies voice under Catherine Kasch. Upcoming engagements include: the International Institute of Vocal Arts in Chiari, Italy; Annina in La Traviata with Emerald City Opera and attending DePaul University in Chicago this fall in pursuit of a Masters of Music degree.
